Meet the Cake Artist

Cruz 'N Cakes, LLC is a military family owned custom cake home bakery established in 2018 in Blythewood, South Carolina. We specialize in custom wedding cakes, grooms cakes & celebration cakes.

 

Baking has always been a passion of mine. As a little girl in my moms kitchen I used to bake chocolate chip cookies every weekend.  When I married my husband who was serving in the military I would bake for our friends and once I had children I shared my love of baking with all 3 of them. In 2002 a friend of mine asked me if I would go with her to a cake decorating class. I reluctantly agreed and I have been hooked ever since.  I started creating custom cakes for family and friends and as word of mouth spread I started getting more and more orders, but as a military spouse we moved quite often and I would have to start over every couple of years sharing my love of baking with new friends. I have always wanted to open my own cake shop but never really had the opportunity until 2018 when I decided to pursue my love of baking.

The biggest reward for me as a Baker/Cake Artist is to create the most delicious and creative custom cake for your event and see the clients smile once they see the cake.
